Meet the Zieman Properties Family!

Property development and management has been part of the Richard and Nancy Zieman family since 1982. The family’s first venture was purchasing and remodeling a 6,000 sq. ft. warehouse, used to fulfill orders for Nancy’s Notions (a mail order business owned by Nancy).  As Nancy’s Notions grew, so did the need for more warehouse space.  In 1987 the Ziemans built a new 14,000 sq. ft. warehouse (which grew to 94,000 sq. ft. facility within 10 years).

In 1988 Richard decided to put his design and construction experience to use for others.  He formed Zieman Properties LLC and soon was able to help fulfill the space needs of local businesses.  Since then Zieman Properties has purchased/renovated existing buildings and has constructed new buildings to meet the needs of the Beaver Dam community.

After managing customer relations for a De Pere business for two years, son Ted, a 2005 St. Norbert business graduate, became property manager for Zieman Properties.  He started the De Pere division and has purchased properties not only in De Pere, but also in Greenville and Sturgeon Bay.  In addition to managing most of the day to day operations Ted continues to further his education with property management and real estate courses.

Richard and Ted have always had the philosophy that fulfilling a tenant’s needs is the most important part of their business.  Both have a hands-on property management style.  They like to have extensive communication with tenants in dealing with issues that may arise.  Both take pride in the maintenance of the properties, keeping them in excellent condition at an affordable price for the tenant.
